The current Korean drama "Kyungsung Creature" airing on Netflix is receiving very low ratings

domestically.

However, it is gaining high ratings internationally.

The situation is such that as soon as "Kyungsung Creature" started airing, journalists and media outlets seemed to have eagerly piled on negative reviews.

I can't help but wonder if there's manipulation behind the scenes by hidden pro-Japanese forces scattered throughout Korea to prevent "Kyungsung Creature" from gaining global attention.

The series is inspired by Unit 731, which conducted inhumane biological experiments during the Japanese colonial era, a dark chapter that many are unaware of.

Despite the need for works like this to confront historical facts and ensure that such atrocities do not happen again, it's astonishing to see the current trend of harshly criticizing a diligently produced drama, perhaps to the point of calling it a failure.

While some may find the plot dragging a bit, it is by no means a disastrous piece. I hope that people around the world watching "Kyungsung Creature" will gain awareness of the tearful history of this land.

Overall, the drama serves as a reminder to face historical truths and work towards reflection and measures to prevent such events from happening again.
